POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Q: How do I become a Life
Plus member and what does it cost?
A: There are various ways to become a member:
Call +44 1480 477230 and give the Life
Plus representative the personal identification number (PIN) of the person who referred
you to them together with name, address, telephone number and fax if you have one. You
will immediately be given your own PIN and be entered into the computer as a member. You
can now order products for your own use at wholesale prices and can refer others to become
members as well. There is no charge to become a member and there is no minimum order
requirement. If however, you wish to receive commissions for referring others to Life
Plus, you must have purchased at least L30/$40 during the month.
Ask the person who introduced you to Life
Plus to show you how to fill out an order form with the products of your choice and send
it in by phone, fax, or e-mail. You will receive a new members welcome packet with your
personal identification number (PIN) and your products will arrive shortly afterwards
depending on your chosen method of payment. You can immediately refer others and begin to
earn royalties.
Visit the official Life Plus website at http://www.lifeplus.com
and place the order of your choice on the "place order" page remembering to give
the personal identification number (PIN) of the person that introduced you to Life Plus.
If you do not do this, you will be automatically assigned a sponsor completely unknown to
you (not recommended).
Q: How long do I remain a
member?
A: Life Plus will not remove you from their
database unless you do not purchase anything from them for 12 consecutive months. You may
resign at any time but you will lose all connection to anyone you may have referred and
hence the royalties available to you if they purcahse from Life Plus.
Q: Is there any age
restriction for becoming a member?
A: As with any income generating activity,
you must be of legal age in your place of residence and you must declare your activity to
your relevant tax authorities.
Q: How many positions
may one person have?
A: Only one. The person may hold that
position as an individual, or in the form of a bona fide business entity such as a
partnership or corporation. Multiple positions in Life Plus are not permitted and
constitute as grounds for termination if discovered. You may sponsor your spouse and other
family members provided each of them sponsor on their first levels too. Building under
your spouse's position is considered an infringement of the rules and regulations and can
be grounds for termination if discovered.
Q: What can I rely
on in the way of oral representations from my sponsor?
A: You are entering into an agreement with
Life Plus when you become a member of the company. All of the terms of that agreement are
specified in the company document named "Policies and Procedures". You can
request a copy from your sponsor or directly from Life Plus but you are reading them now,
so the easiest way is to print this section. There are no oral terms or conditions that
are part of the agreement with the company. They are in writing here or in local laws.
Q: What are my
obligations and rights when I become a Life Plus member?
A: They are all explained here on the FAQ
pages and by participating in the Life Plus program, (placing orders, referring others,
and/or accepting royalty cheques) you agree to be bound by them. By agreeing to these
guidelines and policies, you agree to extract the responsibility from the company for
anything you do which does not conform with these policies and procedures. You also
indemnify Life Plus for any possible damages resulting from such acts.
Q: Am I an employee
of Life Plus when I become a member?
A: No. You are an independent contractor
who chooses to be obligated by these policies and procedures in your relationship with
Life Plus.
Q: Can I sell my
Life Plus business to someone else?
A: Yes, but it can only be sold to another
party when you have received approval for that sale from the company. You are assured that
such approval will not be unreasonably witheld.
Q: Can I leave my
Life Plus business to a family member or someone else if I die?
A: Yes, but you will need to specify in
your last will and testament to whom you wish to pass it on to.
Q: Can I resign and
join again later?
A: You may resign from the company at any
time you desire. If you do however, you will lose any downline organisation you have
built. Upon resignation, the official buy-back regulations of the jurisdictions that have
such regulations will be honoured. We strongly discourage indiscriminate changing of
sponsors. However, if you must change your sponsor, you must resign, have no activity and
wait six (6) months before you can apply to join again. If you do this, you will leave any
downline you have built in the position it is. If you wish to move with your downline to
another sponsor, you must get the approval and signatures of your six upline members and
pay the company a fee of L150/$225.
Q: Can I recruit
cross-line?
A: Life Plus will not tolerate "cross
line recruiting". This is when one member tries to influence any other member to join
his/her downline. Any attempts to cross-line recruit constitute grounds for dismissal from
Life Plus.
Q: How do I place
orders with Life Plus?
A: Your sponsor should show you how to do
this and we recommend that you place your first order together with your sponsor to become
familiar with the order form. Otherwise, you can order directly on the official Life Plus
website (linked from this site), you can order by fax, telephone, or electronic mail. The
official opening hours of the company are 08.00 to 20.00 (weekdays) and from 09.00 to
17.00 on the last Saturday of each month.
Q: Are Life Plus
products guaranteed?
A: All Life Plus products with the
exception of the "Slender Now" weight loss range are sold with a 30-day
satsifaction guarantee. Literature, sales aids and shipping charges are not refundable.
The products are not intended to to be used to cure any ailment or disease, nor can they
legally be represented to do so. If you are not satisfied with a Life Plus product for any
reason, simply return the unused portion or empty bottle to the customer service
department with a letter giving your reason for dissatisfaction within 30 days of purchase
for a refund (an additional 10 days is allowed for shipping). Royalties paid on returned
products will be adjusted and your qualification/others qualifications may be affected.
Q: How are the
products I order shipped, how long after I order are they shipped, and how much do Life
Plus charge for shipping?
A: Provided payment has been received,
goods are usually shipped within 24 hours of the receipt of your order. Orders are not
shipped on Mondays due to stock-taking nor on weekends. If any item you order is out of
stock, this will create a delay in shipping. Orders can be sent by regular mail,
registered mail, or UPS courier. Each order incurs a L1 administration charge and all
shipping costs are charged to you at actual cost. If you choose to have your order sent by
regular mail or any other non-traceable method, the company cannot be held responsible for
lost, stolen, or damaged packages.
Q: What can we cure
with these products?
A: Nothing! Absolutely nothing! Life Plus
do not manufacture or sell drugs. The products are nutritional supplements that are
designed to assist the body to help itself by integrating nutrients missing from our
diets. If you represent the product line in any way that claims cures, you have violated
the primary rule of this industry. This could be damaging to the company and all it's
members and can leave you liable to legal proceedings. Making such claims may subject you
to immediate termination from the company. You should not attempt to diagnose any
condition, make any drug-type claims or prescribe Life Plus products for the solution to
any health condition. This is one reason that Life Plus insist on approval of any
literature or advertising aids prior to your using them.
Q: How do I refer
others to Life Plus?
A: You can give them the company's
telephone/fax number making certain that they have your PIN number, or they can place an
order using the company website, however the best method is if you show them how to place
an order. Otherwise, you can call giving your referrals personal details and request a PIN
with which they can order afterwards.
Q: How many people
do I have to refer to Life Plus in order to receive Royalties?
A: One (1). You cannot receive royalties
unless there are paid orders to receive royalties from. There are no set number of
referrals required either to begin with or on an ongoing monthly basis. The only
requirement to receive royalties is that you yourself have made an order/orders to a
minimum value of L30/$40 in the month that purchases were made by people you referred.
Q: How do I know
how much the people I referred, and they in turn have referred are ordering?
A: Life Plus will provide you with a
monthly computer printout together with your royalty cheque. The printout gives you
information of who ordered, when, how much for, on which level they are on in your
organisation, and the amount of your royalties for each purchase made. More detailed
genealogies can be provided to ASAP members for a small fee. Information about other Life
Plus members is provided solely for the furtherance of your Life Plus business and may not
be used for any other purpose.
Q:When must I place
my qualifying order to be able to receive my royalty cheque?
A: You can place your orders at any time
during the calendar month. You must place a minimum order of L30/$40 before midnight on
the last day of the month. Payment must be received at the same time. In the case of bank
transfers, it is your duty to ensure that you have placed your order enough in advance to
cater for the delay taken by banks to transfer the funds. In the vent that your credit
card is refused for any reason, your month's qualification will be lost unless you can pay
for the order by other means within the time limit already specified. The ASAP program is
the safest method to guarantee that you do not lose your royalty cheque but again, payment
must have been received before the month has ended. All Dollar cheques are despatched by
post on the 5th business day of each month. Sterling cheques are generally
posted on the 15th day of the month.
Q: Does the company
have an automatic qualifying program?
A: Yes! The ASAP program (formerly MAQ) means
Monthly Automatic Qualifying. This has been designed to ensure that you never miss your
bonus cheque while providing you with other very significant benefits. See the Life Plus
Power Plan brochure for more details.
Q: Can I place
advertisements in newspapers, magazines, or other places to promote my business?
A: You are encouraged to use all sensible
means of building your business however, we require that you use only materials that we
have approved (all materials provided by Life Plus are already approved). Should you
desire to use materials other than those supplied by the company, you must submit them to
the home office for written approval prior to using them. Please allow two weeks for this
approval. Life Plus will make every effort to approve or edit your materials as quickly as
possible. Creating your own materials can be very rewarding however you must be certain
that you do not violate any laws or policies when doing so.
Q: In the event of
questions or disputes that may arise under this agreement, what laws will be used to
govern them?
A: Life Plus is based in Arkansas therefore
Arkansas law will be provident in the event of disputes.
Q: How does the
company know that I have agreed to abide by these policies and procedures?
A: The act of placing an order and
receiving royalty cheques from Life Plus is deemed to be acceptance of all terms and
conditions of the company policies and procedures. They have been made very simple for the
benefit of all members.
Q: Can these
policies and procedures be amended?
A: Yes, but Life Plus try not to change
them if at all possible. As long as they cover all aspects of the daily operations of both
the company and it's members, there will be no necessity to alter them. Life Plus reserves
the right to make any necessary changes without prior notice.
Q: What can happen to
me if I violate these policies and procedures?
A: To guarantee long term stability and a
good future for all our members, it is important to operate the company fairly and
legally. Life Plus are committed to conducting their business legally, ethically, and
fairly. Any violation of theses policies and procedures may result in your termination and
the loss of all that you have worked to create. Life Plus have no desire to take such
drastic measures and will only do so if absolutely necessary. On rare occasions,
termination will take place. It will be with prior written notice to the best known
address in the company records. You would then have a fifteen (15) day period to file an
appeal to the company.
